Body piercing has always been an outlet for me. It gave me confidence, a sense of power, and something I could truly call my own. At different points in my life, it became a marker of growth, healing, and self-expression.

I began my piercing career at 19 years old, and now, at 32, I’m still here—still learning, still growing, and still deeply in love with what I do. What started as a passion has become a lifelong craft, one built on connection, trust, and the privilege of being part of these moments with people. Even after all these years, I’m just as inspired by this work as I was in the beginning.

I started Luar with the hope of sharing that same feeling with others—the freedom to choose yourself, to feel empowered in your own skin. Beyond that, I wanted to raise the bar. To offer something more intentional. A space that feels safe, welcoming, and affirming, where everyone is celebrated exactly as they are.

One of my favourite pieces we carry is the Talao Clicker hoop. It’s effortlessly beautiful—versatile enough to pair with any look, yet distinctive enough to stand on its own. Classy, timeless, and quietly bold, it’s the kind of piece that feels like you the moment you put it on.
